Worked about five times. I would not recommend this model. This is the second DVD player I have owned. It won't play dvds and makes a buzzing sound. Guess I just don't have good luck with dvd players. The first one worked for about a year, if that. Second one was this Phillips model.

It is noisy & unreliable and ha made its way to the trash. I got this product for $40 at Target and it was a piece of junk from the onset. It makes a horrible buzzing noise and does not always play dvds.

a waste of money. After only having this for a couple of months, it started to freeze/skip/ect. (the reviews on targets website are much like this one.so its not just me) it says philips, but target is peddling garbage that last less than 6 months.greatly disappointed. i would just turn it off then back on. finally it completely crapped out and refuses to read any discs.

I will never purchase any product from Philips again. What a piece of junk. This DVD player worked well for the two times it worked. Now it will not eject.

I gave it only 3 stars not for the player but for the lack of customer support. I thought her TV was a stereo model with the necessary composite imputs but it was not which necessitated the purchase of an RF modulator. I sent Phillips two support inquiries and never had a reply from them for either inquiry. The player itself is a nice compact sized player for someone who does not need or want the BIG home theater experience. I bought if as a gift for my mom.
